I wish we had more cap flexibility cause I’d genuinely like a move like this. We’d be able to role a top 9 of Panarin-Mika-Kakko, Laf-Chytil-Blais and Kreider-Goodrow-Anderson. Would be sweet if you ask me.

Although I like the idea of turning Kravtsov into Anderson, there are a couple caveats.

1. The Rangers cant afford to lose Strome right now.
2. Anderson's contract is a bit of a deterrent.

If Gallant had any interest in playing Goodrow at center, McKegg would not be playing on the main roster right now.

I think part of that is a byproduct of using him up and down the lineup with Strome and Kakko out. It could change, but you may be right. Guess we’ll have to wait and see how it plays out.

I never understand why so many people are trying to trade Weber's contract. It literally is not hurting us, the recapture penalty for Montreal is negligible IF he retires and we are able to exceed the cap by him being on LTIR. Also IF Nashville truly wants to avoid a recapture penalty they better be willing to pay a hell of a lot more than a 2nd considering it cost a 1st for Toronto to dump one year of Marleau and there is 4 years on Webers deal still after this one
