If Seattle did select Kerfoot add McCann back to the team, but regardless even if we had Hyman still I wouldn't want him at that term, not to mention there's know way to tell if he'd even being doing as good as he is with the Oilers... if you call what's he's doing so far with them "good". I see Kerfoot and McCann being basically the same player skill level wise, MaCann probably has the edge, but probably not a big enough one.

I think in this parallel universe, Toronto never trades for McCann, meaning there’s cap space to keep Hyman. It’s trading kerfoot and Ritchie for Hyman and Toronto’s 4th round pick.

I don’t know enough to tell if this is an equitable trade or not, I don’t think Hyman would have 5 goals in 5 games playing for the leafs.

So, now it's a 20 man roster, just unworkable. And really weak at centre without Kerfoot.

Definitely solves the 1 left wing problem (or rather, never creates it lol), but they are more up against the cup than before (in other words, there would be more than 1 Alex Bishop type situations, which is too risky), and the depth is slightly worse. Time will tell if the leafs made the right moves I guess.

Yeah maybe for now. But injuries happen so you want one goal last season to play on the second line. Sorry to it's an awful way to construct the lineup.
