I think they should use Ritchie in certain situations. On offensive draws he can be out with AM and MM where as soon as Matthews wins bam Ritchie goes to screen the goalie and be a net front presence.

But on defensive of start of the period faceoffs he should be swapped with Kerfoot or Bunting.

That way you are getting the best out of him

Now as for the PP

One thing I have noticed

While the PP has looked sharper I think we need to confront the elephant in the room.

RN we are running a 1-3-1 style which is nice. But Rielly seems to be a problem in this new style. Rielly rn is on the point which is where he should be, except if we look at how he scores he often scores in similar positions to where Point and Stamkos get their goals on the PP (either the bumper position or LFC) and thats where Marner and Nylander currently sit and that's the problem. I think its time to move him into the LFC and move either Marner or Nylander to the Point. Sure its risky but I feel that will lead to more success as with Rielly seemingly not wanting to slapshot from the point could be worth while to put someone who is not afraid of point shots.

what the #1 pp needs is a guy in front of the net. . Against SJ the 2nd pp unit because guys were in front of the net generated more chances in their 30 seconds of pp time then the first unit did in a minute and a half. Keefe needs to take Tavares off the #1 unit and put Simmonds or Ritchie in front of the net. Their doing exactly what they did last year when the pp fell off the map the 2nd half of the season. The only difference is they moved Marner to the bumper spot where he looks completely out of place
