Description

How i roll my lines against vegas.

1. Promote perlini, yamamoto has done nothing on the second line and it needs a fresh look. Nuge and Drat will set lambo up to make some shots.

2. Start Skinner, the team will tighten up defensively around him and vegas is missing stone, pacioretty, martinez, and tuch. Let him get his feet wet.

3. demote barrie and his puck fumbling to the 3rd pair and promote bouche. Barrie is great on the PP but keeps making knuckleheaded plays in his own zone, kris russel paired with him will cover for some of his defensive gaffes.

4. keep the beastly 3rd line together.

5. keep the second line together as they have played well despite what analytic fanboys on twitter who have preconceived notions iwll say.

While I agree Yam has been awful, the only guy below him in the batting order that deserves a promotion is Kassian but I agree with leaving that 3rd line together. I haven't seen anything from Perlini/Turris/Shore/McLeod that makes me think any of them would do any better than Yam on the 2nd line.

I think Kassian deserves a shot on that second line too. His performance has really impressed so far

I was talking about the season as a whole, been very underwhelming for Yam. Essentially a clean sheet in a 5-1 win while playing with Nuge and Drai against a weak Arizona team. It'd be nice if rookie Yam would show up again. When he's bad he doesn't necessarily cost the team but you just need more out of a top 6 winger than what he's currently producing (or more so not producing). Holland looking smart to gamble on another 1 year deal rather then giving Yam term and dollars during negotiations. I'd still rather deal with the problem of both JP and Yam deserving big contracts than having a clear decision on who get the contract though.
