I'd think the Ducks would want to know what is happening with impending UFA Lindholm before sending Fowler anywhere. They may be rebuilding, but potentially losing both of their best LHD in short succession doesn't help anyone there.

That retention ruins it. ANA is not retooling that much for that long without ample compensation, which this trade is clearly lacking.

Fowler can only be traded to 4 teams. Boston is not one. He loves SoCal. Not waiving.

Lindholm or Manson are much more likely targets.

I actually think Manson makes the most sense for Boston at this point. I have never been much of a Clifton fan - Manson makes the right side really solid and can take some hard minutes.

Forbort looked awful last night. Its going to be a long 2 seasons + 80 games putting up with that. Folignio hurt already and he was breaking down last year. Waste of 3.8M for the next two years. Like Anaheim is retaining $1,500,000 on Cam Fowler for basically garbage, Not even close and it's doubtful Boston is even on Fowler's 4 team trade list.

I didn’t like those signings either. No one ever thought coyle was a 2C. That doesn’t mean these moves are a possibility.

Oh I agree. That is not a viable trade proposal. On top of that Sweeney has tied his own hands with this roster and the lack of cap space. Hall was a given and I will let him have Ullmark but the rest of his signings were just brutal. He had his chance and failed plain and simple. I hope I am wrong. Time will tell.
