Fabbro has struggled mightily in the NHL. Even if Comtois has “fallen out of favor” he’s still at least shown he can produce at the NHL level.

It's a fair point. I agree, he's been disappointing thus far into his career. I don't think it would be 1 for 1 right now, but would Fabbro fill a need on the right side in ANA?

I suppose there would need to be a noticeable improvement in Fabbro for this deal to be considered. Though, I don't know if NSH would be interested in letting him go if that happens.

For what it's worth, he looks very good when paired next to Josi this season. The only problem is that Hynes likes to screw with him and give him a different partner every night -- most often one of Borowiecki or Harpur -- who are absolute anchors. So hopefully he gets a chance to stay next to Josi for a while. He honestly looks like a completely different player with Josi. I think it'll be a big year for him if he secures that spot.
