Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Not an easy task - moderate raises for all 1st/2nd year players, Perron takes same salary.

After 2022-2023, need ROR or Vladdy to take paycuts to keep everyone together and/or get rid of Scandella when Perunovich is ready for the top 4.

Would say it is very possible any of Sundqvist, Barby, Scandella, Vladdy are traded to create cap space that will be needed to extend Kyrou/Thomas/Kostin/Perunovich/ROR

Not related to next year, but I really like the Blues this year, up front they are a very balanced and versatile group. I could be off in this assessment as I don't watch them much but just looking at their roster could they use just one more piece on D? It's early but man they look good.

I think an upgrade over Scandella is the biggest thing they could do to improve. But that also means shipping out Scandella + picks/prospects and the "better" D coming back has to be similar salary cap to work. We don't have much cap tied in players that don't fit here anymore.

I agree with your assessment, they have great depth and balance in the 4 lines. The greatest need is a long stick on the LD. Watch for an Ekholm trade at the deadline if the Preds are out of it. If this team stays healthy they have a shot for a Cup run...
