Perfetti is closer to Lafreniere than Kravtsov.
I had Perfetti #2 in my 2020 draft rankings just behind Laf.
Stützle has probably leapfrogged him since.
Maybe Drysdale too.
Eventually Mercer may too (sure, call me a homer).
But Perfetti is right there among those guys. Top-10 value.

While Perfetti is beyond a lofty ask for Krav, NYR are still better off letting him rot in Russia- and never sniff the NHL- than take a low percentage NHLer (low pick, or B/C prospect) in return for a player who -as you say- ends up as a middle 6 winger.

If the Rangers get offered a 2nd + 3rd rd pick for him they should do it.

I've been saying one of the options they should be looking for is (2) 2nds....so I guess I could live with that if they are coming from a (projected) non-playoff team....where as if the 2nd and 3rd are from TBL or COL- those picks wouldn't be far from a 3rd and 4th from a DET or AZN type team....in that case I'd certainly push for the (2) seconds
