The first is okay but you have no 1st in 2022 to offer us and a cap dump paired with a guy who can't crack a struggling Hawks lineup is just not intriguing whatsoever.

Not even close to Hertl’s trade value. A first next year, a cap dump and a guy who has been scratched the first 3 games this year isn’t good enough. Need to add a top prospect to that trade.

It's not that Strome "can't crack" the lineup, it's that the coach doesn't like his style of play and that same coach can't put together a winning team on a pretty solid roster on paper so go figure. Stats wise, Strome is a top 5 offensive player for the Hawks only behind Kane, Cat, Kubalik, and Toews which is pretty good company and statistically since arriving in Chicago only behind Kane and Cat in terms of points per game. He's a very solid player, but needs to play with wingers that are transition players and defensively good which is what our coach emphasizes and also what the team is not doing well at up front.

That all said, the Hawks aren't playing him as their intent is to trade him and they don't want him injured at this point; that's the latest rumor. No question he's better then 7 or 8 out of 12 forwards though.

Seth Jones is borderline terrible. Hes a negative to have on your team
