That's a potential top prospect and potential lottery pick. SJS would take that for sure.

The trade itself is a crazy overpay, but it could easily blow up in NYR's face depending on his extension and Fox's extension.

Ultimately I just don't think it's worth it. In my opinion, stick with Strome, or go with Chytil. I'm not saying Hertl sucks by any means, but I struggle to see how him and his likely 7million dollar cap hit - that will likely see one of Lafreniere, Kakko, or Miller to be lost - will be better than the current "Bread and Butter" chemistry we have. Strome should come in at 5million maximum on his next deal. Otherwise we give the reigns to Chytil. It's just too tight with the cap hit to do this, unless some seriously drastic/impossible measures are made

Just make deals where the AAV hit goes growing past 2024 (with the CBA coming to an end) in a post-covid world the salary cap should shoot up so that is possible to make it work

Kravtsov is an A tier prospect if you disagree with that then I presume your A tier prospects are (my S tier prospects) generational talents (such as Laf, Kaapo, Stutzle, etc). A tier prospects are prospects with a top 6 ceilings, but who will not turn into Crosby or McDavid.

A tier prospects have a ceiling similar to Barzal, Strome, Eberle, Kreider, etc.
