I think Blais has more than shown he has some skills in those hands. I think the experiment of Kreider on the RW of the top line needs to end. Hes arguably the best net front presence on the PP and that obviously should never change, but at even strength hes irrelevant.

Kreider is red-hot at the moment and to me he is essential in the top 6 so replace Blais with Kreider and I agree.

Kreider is not "red hot". Kreider has 3 goals, all 3 deflections on the PP. Kreider at even strength has been irrelevant.

Maybe they have another RW stashed away somewhere that they could call up?

It would make sense plus if he plays well or goes on a hot streak that will only add to his value.

Honestly, Pajuniemi looked pretty good in the pre-season, but Id be curious to see what Blais can do playing with skilled guys.

If you mean that you dislike Kreider because he is streaky then yes I dislike that of Kreider too but Kreider will not turn like that this season I don't think why:

He has a lot more responsibility as a leader on this team and is in my eyes the defacto Captain, and thus he will fight, scrum, assist, score and lead this team, and thus I feel that he is a necessary part of this team on the top line

Me being from Finland and a fan of TPS I watched Paju a lot and to me has talent, tons of it as a matter of fact, and will perform well if he is given an opportunity

The small sample size from preseason he looked quite good.

Hes been a team leader for a couple years now. The only thing he is consistent of is his disappearing act, which I can guarantee you is why hes not the captain.

So deflections don't count towards being "red hot"? Why the heck not? Plus, one of his goals was at even strength and 2 were PP goals. He also is fourth on the team in shots on goal and second in hits and is a +2 on a 1-1-1 team. He has been far from irrelevant at even strength.

I say what I say because what Kreider does csn be done on any line. The problem with Kreider is he doesnt make the guys around him better. Its great that he can park himself in front of the net but why cant he do that on the 3rd line? He can skate the lights out but he cant handle the puck or pass very well. Hes got a mediocre shot at best. In open ice hes the last person you want with the puck. Hes your protoypical dump and chase hockey player which is the last thing I want my top/skill lines doing.

For years now, the two biggest issues the Rangers have had is they don't go to the net (as a team) and they play soft. Kreider is one of very few players they have had that does both. Yes, he has streaks where he seems invisible, which bothers me as well, but then he has streaks where he is filling the net and leading the team. I don't care what "line" he is on. Your comment was he is irrelevant at even strength, and that simply is not true.
