2-0 yeah, but give it time. Absent some 2016-level overperformance, this is still likely a Bottom-10 team in the league. Which is OK (for now)!
- Domi deal looks about right. If we can get a deal that includes at least a 2nd, then great;
- I think CBJ are more inclined to keep Kukan. They need RD depth. If they do trade him, the package will not include a Bottom-6 forward unless that player is on an expiring deal. CBJ are flush with those players;
- I'd be happy with the Harrington trade - his ceiling really is TDL bait as D depth for a playoff team, which suits him. Depending on how much playing time he gets, a 5th might be generous.
- I think CBJ would love to get at least a 2nd for Korpi, but making it a conditional 3rd is fine too. Not sure which team acquires him yet - now that the season has started, his destination will depend on his performance, as well as whether any other starters go down with injury, or a playoff team is looking to make an upgrade in net.
- I've said it before, I'll say it again - don't underestimate a Nyquist trade. If he can show he's still a solid M6 forward (45+ points), I could see CBJ getting a 1st for him, particularly if they are willing to retain.
