I think Detroit does too. Two games is not a good sample size but if they keep playing like they have they may not get a top 5. By know means am I even trying to imply that they’re playoff bound but I don’t see teams coming in and having their way with the Wings this year. With soft players like Flipula, Helm and Nielsen gone this is a much better team. Dekeyser is still about useless thus far.

Detroit is not a trade partner for Eichel.

1st, no way Wings sign Dekeyser for that much and that long.
2nd Leddy will get more than that on that deal.
3rd Fabbri gets more
4th Yzerman like Edvinsson and pictures him to match with Sedier
Lastly Wings in no position to trade 1st yet.

I think the ddk resigning is the real head scratcher here
