Why does Hertl get more than stone?

Stone was traded for Brannstrom and a 2nd. Brannstrom was a consensus top 20 prospect in hockey when he was traded, Brisson is not that. This is far less than they gave up for Stone

I did consider that. Then I looked at a lot of rental trades, and there’s nothing to indicate the market will dictate the price many sharks fans expect.


This is basically someone saying the sun won’t rise tomorrow. Maybe they’re right, but there’s a pretty big sample size of data indicating they’re likely wrong

Yeah I’m not sure I’d want to do that. He’s looked phenomenal this year. Our cap situation is terrible because we have no young players producing. We need that to start happening
