Cossa was already a reach. Why would he got further up? If anything, Wallstedt should be in that position.

Personally, I think Cossa is a little less risky plus I heard something that Wilson wasn’t interested in Wallstedt. That was the one pick I had a feeling I was gonna get a hard time on.

Yzerman was targeting LD, Zero chance he'd take Guenther over hometown kid Luke Hughes. And taking Cossa at #7 is a joke. Even at #15 it was a pretty stretch.

Those are impressive numbers from Cossa, but they're also against kids. Wallstedt’s numbers look worse but are in actuality much better when you consider he's playing against grown men.
