Review of game 1

- Wheeler looked terrible last night. He gave the puck away a lot last night including lots in high danger areas. He is at best a 2nd line winger; however, I think he would fit better on a 3rd line with Stastny and Copp because they can cover up his bad defence.

- Perfetti was doing great things every shift, however playing with Lowry and Harkins won't allow him to put up points. He definitely deserves a look in the top 6 and especially on the PP. I would love to see him with Scheifele and Connor in the next game.

- Svech needs to be in a better spot than on the 4th line, he is a way better fit in the top 6. I would like to see him on the left side of Dubois with Ehlers. Svech has a great shot and hands and is way better vision offensively than Copp.

- I like Copp, but on the 2nd line he is holding Dubois and Ehlers back because of his lack of vision. He would be a lot better back on the 3rd with Stastny and adding Wheeler to that line could allow

- Ehlers was great like usual (he had 8 of the Jets 34 shots) however he still needs more time on ice (he had the 5th most time on ice amongst jets forwards last night with 18:20) and to be on the 1st PP unit

- Stanley was terrible, he was trying to make plays like a star, but he is just not good enough. He was trying to make all these long and though passes and had no accuracy them causing a few icings. He also should be taken off the PK.

- Heinola needs a look with DeMelo, I’m sure it won’t happen next game, but it should happen soon. Heinola is just better than Stanley in every categories other than physicality/height (even though Stanley doesn’t really throw his weight around), however DeMelo can throw some hits.
