based on the Top 6 potential ask, I guess that means they would want Martin Kaut from the Avs. I wouldnt trade Kaut, keep the guy you know vs the guy who is on the downslope.
a 3rd and a prosepct like Beaucage is the most I would be comfortable with.

Draft position is meaningless now in terms of his value, Ranger fans who argue he was a top pick like it adds value, thats not how it works. The value is sunk in the player now, that is gone. Now the value is on what the player is as a prospect, and right now not much

Bad for NYR imo.

Lisa Andersson is not nearly as good as kravtsov.

because kravstov has played so many nhl games to determine his true value right? im just comparing the 2. similar circumstances surrounded lias, he wanted more playing time, wasnt earning it, publicly asked out. His return was a late 2nd.

I had the same evaluation for Kravtsov. I know our FO specifically asked for top 6 material, but that's just to open negotiation.
I'd rather just take the early 2nd round pick if there are no center prospects of similar value available.

im just tired of seeing ACGM's where its kravtsov for like a 1st or for some teams top line center. the reason the oilers sent Pulju back to SHL to regain confidence/develop was because they valued him more than other teams were willing to pay. Rangers either have to send kravtsov somewhere else or get back a worse return. Its all about demand. and right now it doesnt look like theres a whole lot of demand for a guy that hasnt exactly lived up to the top 10 selection.
