If Tkachuk gets 60+ pts this year, it won’t look as bad. He was on pace for 53 last year but you forget he was basically playing with Norris and Batherson who were both having their first full season in the NHL.

im not chirping the deal at all, just stating the cap going up factored into the marner deal which everyone forgets when chirping the deal

Look at the players he played with, a rookie Josh Norris, Batherson’s first full season , a terrible defence where only 1 guy could get him the puck (Chabot). If he played with Tavares, he’d have had at least 60 last year.
