I really like Olofsson, but Buffalo has too many LH forwards.
Olofsson is the same age as Ristolainen so I could see him getting traded for 2 seconds.
While they will not score as many goals as Olofsson, Bjork, Girgensons, or Ruotsalainen could all move up to second line LW.
I tend to agree with
@sabres89 and
@Skyraider112 he is worth a bit more than two late 2nd round picks (early 3rd round picks, Mike Weber returned a third for example)
Ruotsalainen could slip into the second line LW.
in '18-'19 he was only one goal behind Kakko, in '20-'21 he had 16 goals in 19 games in SM-Liiga, 13 AHL pts in 13 games and 5 NHL goals in 17 games.
The Eichel return is a bit light but Kakko, Georgiev and 2 first may be all Buffalo will get for Jack and another player has to be included to balance the cap.
@thewookie1 yup, Gauthier, Kakko, and McKegg add nothing to the trade and would be actually useless as they would be taking up a roster spot.
Skinner,
This could be an interesting forward line up:
Skinner Mittelstadt Hinostroza
Ruotsalainen Cozens Kakko
Bjork Thompson Caggiula
Asplund Girgensons Okposo
