Um why trade Hertl for another rental... (unless its for cap)

God I love Khusnutdinov. Big reason I hope Hertl is traded to MIN.

IMO it’s too steep for MIN, because we can’t afford to re-sign him. I would love to have Hertl, but I don’t think we become true cup contenders with him, so it’s tough to justify futures of this caliber for a 1 and done.

if Min is legit all in this season I say its good for both! if not this will be a bad trade in 2-3 years for Min. especially because 23 pick will end up being a mid round pick, I just don't see min being good next year or the year after with so much money tied up in those two buy outs.

That’s kinda nuts hertl is amazing but he’s not worth marat, beckman and a 1st. I’d give you one of those 3 pieces and that’s about it honestly. One of those and a 3rd or a b prospect. That’s about it.

I personally would do Khus and a 1st. Anything less than that and Sharks look elsewhere.

If the Wild can get an affordable extension for Hertl that enables them to contend seriously, I'd be more than happy to make that trade. But for a rental, that would be way off the park.

I think you will get a good haul for Hertl, but I can’t see the Wild being the highest bidder. Guerin needs those ELCs too badly to give them up.

I think the winning package will be more value than Khust + 1st.
