Description

Put Spezza at 3C and make it a skilled line with Kerfoot and Kase (if Kase isn't working then we can slide mikheyev or simmonds in there). Then our 3rd line has legitimate scoring potential, and the 4th line is a solid defensive line

Besides Nylander, Spezza was the Leafs 2nd best player during the playoffs.

That has nothing to do with playing a 82 game schedule. The reason Spezza is so valuable is because he plays against other teams 4th line and bottom pairing. His hockey I.Q. and skill though aged is still way better then his opposition.
