Kyrou + 2nd for Brady is probably more like it. It would be a good move overall, although the Blues would be smart to prioritize more speed in the lineup which is why losing Kyrou would suck. They'd have the slowest forward group by a longshot if they replace Kyrou with Brady. Meanwhile the Sens would be high-flying with Formenton, Stutzle, and Kyrou all speeding up and down the ice.

I would have thought one for one would be enough value-wise. I figured most Blues fans would need the 2nd added in. Surprised you don't value Kyrou that highly, I see him having a really high Offensive upside and he does have great speed.



The Cap situation does make sense and I would be fine with Sens taking a player with 1 year left to even it out and make use of the extra cap space they have. However, I think with coming to St. Louis and a Signing bonus heavy contract, & Sign and trade so you can make it 8 years you could probably get the AAV down to 6 per.



I am looking for a Sens perspective first, and I agree, I looked at the best young Right-handed Top 6 wingers that could play with Stuztle, and honestly, I think he would be the best player for the role.

I love Kyrou but they’re not close to equal value. Brady’s two years younger and has significantly better numbers while being on a considerably worse team. The only season that they were close in points was this past season and Brady’s impact was still far greater points aside.

There’s a reason why Kyrou signed for 2.8m and Brady wants 7m+… there would need to be more than just that 2nd switching sides for it to be worthwhile for Ottawa.
