Sure bud, any real hockey person knows Nylander is and has always been far more valuable than Pesce. He's a decent 2nd pair #4 defenceman. That's it.

It should be done without a doubt. Nylander is without a doubt better and more valuable.

I'd say he'll get exposed this season but he'll likely play with Slavin and then Canes fans will say "See! His numbers are great!" Despite Slavin absolutely being the driver of the pair. Or he'll get stuck with an average defender and look average himself and then it'll be because his partner sucks. Pesce is one of those guys that looks great only when surrounded with great players. Its funny how Holl gets railroaded for being the same type of player. Put him with Muzzin and he's great, put him with a 3rd pair defenceman and he looks far less effective. To most that means Holl sucks and shouldn't play in the league but for Pesce, he somehow is the hero regardless of reality.
