Forget Eichel, can we take a second to appreciate how good this team is? Super underrated, and if Tarasenko is moved, youll get a ton back.

The D is still a little suspect but I agree, without Eichel the Blues have a ton of forward depth and a good mix of guys. If Parayko can return to form and they find the right partner for him to eat the tough minutes, it's a dangerous team. The Tarasenko saga is gonna have more twists and turns than I was ever expecting haha, who knows what will happen there.

Not a lot of quality. They would want Thomas which probably wouldn’t happen right now. Blues don’t really have a lot of good prospects.

Yeah it's admittedly not a great offer but probably what the Blues would be able to do. I don't see them moving Thomas, although he does get jammed down to 3C behind a couple great centers in this scenario so who knows. The Blues prospect pool has definitely run out of steam (Perunovich is looking fantastic but I don't think LHD makes sense for BUF) but these guys are at the very least are gonna be NHLers, and then pretty easy conditions to reach for it to be 2 1sts, plus whatever futures a team would give for 3.75m Vladi.

All their long term contract guys are overrated

Their depth is just ok

Their cup run was an anomaly ✔
