well i kind of disagree, maybe the last 2 playoffs but you need to realize its not a typical season, either one

17-18 - 7 gp - 9 pts
18-19 - 7 gp - 4 pts
19-20 5 gp - 4 pts
20-21 - 7 gp - 4 pts

you cant say he doesnt produce in the playoffs at all it was just the 2 messed up seasons.

here is another player who had 3 bad playoffs but you wouldnt sit him out.

18-19 -4 gp - 1 pt
19 - 20 - 4 gp - 3 pt
20 - 21 - 6 gp - 2 pt

I love that we scratch Marner for having a bad playoff series, yet Auston Matthews who had an equally bad playoff run last year is still in the lineup. Even on the off chance Marner doesn't produce this year, I would still rather have someone of Marners pedigree in the lineup over someone like Ilya Mikheyev, who doesn't do anything of value in terms of offense at any point in the year.

Marner sitting in the playoffs means the leafs didn't make the playoffs. Everyone in management would be gone in the off season if that really happened. Last 19 playoff games including the bubble Marner and Matthews have 17 points each. Hyman had 5 points. So let's get it straight here, Marner had 1 less point last playoff then Matthews so l guess someone has to be the scapegoat.

Lol 17 points in his last 19 playoff games including the bubble round, that equals Matthews output so he should be in the press box beside Marner. Hyman had 5 points in those 19 games so he should be in the AHL.
