I don't think Ottawa would be really interested in Dylan Strome
Of course, it would depend on the price paid, but they'd probably want to do something better with Brannstrom.
Stillman also doesn't accomplish anything for Ottawa
The top priority and maybe the only one for Ottawa right now should be getting a RD for Thomas Chabot. I mean, Zub could maybe do the job but he would also be need on the 2nd pairing so there's a big hole on RD IMO.
For the rest of the lineup, kinda need to see what happens with Tkachuk and start the season first.

I saw some sens fans on Twitter saying they think the sens should buy out whites contract this off-season because he just isn’t living up to it. Talking purely from his point totals, I agree that he hasn’t lived up to his contract either. I think the Sens would be interested in Stillman and Strome, adding some depth where they need it badly. along with moving out Whites contract. The other guy in the deal is in a similar situation where he seems to have stalled in his development, and for both players I think a change of scenery could help them out. As for the Arizona trade, the second is included in that deal to dump Connolly. That would make the trade white for Kessel 1 for 1, and as long as white is a player they believe in I don’t see why they can’t make that deal.
A lot of people don't use their brain a lot in life (case in point : covid), twitter doesn't look like a Nobel Conference
70% of Sens fans think White is overpaid by approximatively 1.25 per season (based on polls). Is it anywhere close to being crippling for a team that isn't even at the cap floor a few days before the season starts? lol
If Ottawa was struggling to stay under the cap like many other NHL teams, then buying him out would be a no brainer... but it's not the case and it won't be until players like Stutzle, Sanderson, Pinto, etc start costing a lot of money. But White's contract expires in 3 years after this season... Worst case scenario, buy him out for the last year or even the last 2 years of the contract
In the meantime, solid 3rd liner (a bit injury prone though) who produces ~32 pts per 82 games and has good defensive/advanced stats. He is Chabot's best friend and very appreciated by the whole organization. There is absolutely nothing to gain by "getting rid" of him
