As a sharks fan I love it, but Philly wouldn’t do that

They would if they're vying for a cup.

I wanted Foerster at the draft and we need a pure sniper.

Philly needs a pure sniper as well so they aren't trading Foerster for a TDL rental. Also Philly would be over the cap even if SJ would retain 50%. Even if Philly would have the cap and would be contending for the cup they aren't trading that many valuable futures away for a rental.

I like Hertl, but at deadline, philly should have coots, hayes, frost, thompson, with giroux/laughton/brassard also experienced centers, so I cant see them acquiring Hertl and certainly not at cost. (PHI at forward is pretty well stocked when you consider: coots, hayes, frost, thompson, giroux, laughton, brassard, koneckny, farabee, jvr, lindblom, allison, atkinson, NAK.

Foerster just had an amazing camp and both he and Wisdom (because of the Q shutdown) had very good years in the AHL even though they;re so young. So I'd have to say Foerster is worth more than a high 1st right now and Wisdom is probably worth a high 2nd, which makes Hertl as a deadline acqusition worth 2 1sts, 2 2nds and a 3rd? No chance.

Just a fantasy trade.

I realize Philly isn't the ideal landing spot. I just really like Foerster take it as a compliment!

And there are already two former sharks there. Thought you might want an actual good Shark for once. I like Philly in the east, one of the few eastern teams I actually watch
