As an Oiler fan, glad this didn't happen. At the time, when he was back in Finland and his agent was playing all the games, the Oilers fan base would've been all over it. Another Chia mistake was how they handled him.

Well Laf has been there a bit. And Kakko. And Kravtsov. So maybe top-4.

None of those guys are better than Puljujarvi. They are good prospects, but Puljujarvi has been preforming way better. Also, Lafreniere and Kakko don’t play the same way as Puljujarvi does. You should watch Puljujarvi this year… he’s pretty good. Puljujarvi had a slow start at getting points at the beginning, and with Hyman on that line, he will be way better than Lafreniere, Kakko, and Kravtsov. Even with Kravtsov’s 24 points in the KHL, he wasn’t better. Also, in the KHL, they don’t really play defence… I would hope he would get a lot of points.

Alexis Lafreniere:

Vitili Kravtsov:

Pulujarvi is what like three or four years older then these guys and has played with the best player on the planet, don't get me wrong he's good but some context is necessary here.

He definitely is, but you can’t say these guys are better than Puljujarvi. You know, the top guys are supposed to be really good…. They haven’t proven that to me. And also, look at Kaprizov, Robertson etc. They are around the same age, maybe a tad bit older, but they were not supposed to be as good as Kakko, Lafreniere. As they were picked 1OA, 2OA, I would think they would’ve been better.

I wonder when this is going to sink in . . .
