I don't trust MN's drafting or developing of FWDs. Graovac, Gabriel, and Kunin are the only Wild drafted NHL FWDs I can think of that spent more than 60 games in Iowa.
Why is 60 games in Iowa the metric you're going with? I agree Minnesota has had some spotty drafting but this is a really weird way to make a point.
Johan Larsson played more than 60 games in the AHL but he became an NHL regular
Brett Bulmer played more than 60 games in the AHL but he never amounted to anything else
Erik Haula played part of a season in the AHL, made the NHL and never looked back
Jason Zucker played over 70 games across two seasons in the AHL before becoming a good NHL player
Mario Lucia, Zack Phillips, Raphael Bussieres and Christoph Bertschy all played over 60 AHL games before becoming nothing
Alex Tuch played 57 games for the Iowa Wild before the Vegas expansion draft and he's a very good player now
Joel Eriksson Ek, Jordan Greenway and Kirill Kaprizov all made the NHL and never looked back
Luke Kunin, Brandon Duhaime, Dmitry Sokolov all have over 60 AHL games
Mason Shaw has over 60 AHL games
Swaney, Lodnia and Giroux could get there this season
Dewar is there
Boldy, Rossi and Beckman could all either get there this season, or make the NHL and never look back
