Johansen has played 14 AHL games over the past two seasons. There will be better Dmen available soon.

Not a bad buy low candidate but don't see it happening. More NHL-Ready Dmen will be on waivers that would fit NJ better than Johansen in my opinion

Snagged him since I knew his name among the guys on waivers (think he cleared anyway)

I'm glad NJ picked up Geertsen, as it lessens the chance of them taking Gilbert

Feel free to grab Lagesson from the Oilers. He's probably #5 on our current depth chart for LHD and likely be passed by Broberg and Samorukov pretty quick.

If NJ really wants an NHL plug and play, could always try to scoop Jack Johnson for league min to play for a while. Then waive him when healthy, unless he really plays well. I think he's been decent in COL on his PTO apparently.

If I'm NJ, I would be looking at Lauzon if he goes on waivers. I like his physicality and ability to play both points. Also was a pain against Washington and while I don't like playing against those guys, I love when they are on my team.

Think Lauzon would be a good pickup
