Jones is a common piece that rangers fans wanna trade, so is georgiev. Neither piece is of interest. Even if jones is a swell prospect, the sabres dont need left d, like even a little, its the one position where they are all set. Goalies dont have the value that people like to assign, like what does georgiev return, by himself, on the open market. The sabres already have goalie prospects. They need higher end forward prospects. It doesnt matter, hes not getting moved until hes healthy, its clear that what the sabres need isnt being offered and their best bet is to hold on to him until hes healthy, not just take some grab bag of stuff that another team is perfectly fine with giving away.

Buffalo would at that offer, And besides you've $9,250,000 in potential performing bonuses. So you can't let the cap get that low. Eichel wont work without sending similar cap back to Buffalo.
