This yeah. I love McLeod, but I think Shore at 4C will deliver just as well as him. But McLeod has enough skill to become a 3C eventually. I think his development to that will track better being top line for a couple more months down there, carrying his line, and being first recall on any injury.
Also, I'd just rather not lose Benson or Lagesson, when McLeod can be sent without waivers. If McLeod had definitively earned the 4C spot, wouldn't care if someone else is lost to waivers. But when it's a question, why not just make the move that exposes fewer assets to be lost.
