Ferland is on LTIR
Sutter is looking like LTIR
Hamonic I'm assuming with be LTIR or whatever is going on for him...

This team is strong up the middle if Miller is playing C. This team has high potential on the wings, although a pretty young core with Boeser, Podkolzin, Garland and Hoglander. Three lines that can score, and a 4th that you can't discount either.

If the cap space below is real, we need to find another d-man to play on the right side where we're looking weak weak weak.

I wonder if Brett Pesce is available from Carolina now that they have DeAngelo and his attitude problem?

Tony “can’t defend” DeAngelo is not a replacement for Brett Pesce. And even if he were, Carolina would still have no reason to trade Pesce.

Tony "can't defend, but CAN score 53 points in 68 games" isn't the replacement for Pesce, he's the replacement for the guy who replaces Pesce (Ethan Bear).

If the canes even had a mind to trade Pesce, it would have to start with Hoglander 1st++, or Podkolzin 1st+++. Canes are a legitimate cup contender right now. Canes want players that can help them right now, not a couple years down the line. I like juolevi but in a trade for Pesce, he has minimal value. As it stands right now, Pesce is an untouchable for the canes. Either which way, Pesce would haul a kings ransom plus interest if he was ever traded.

Yeah, and Pavelski was taken in the 7th round. It doesn’t matter where you are drafted, as long as you help your team. In a redraft Pesce would be taken miles before juolevi. Juolevi hasn’t panned out to what was expected. Pesce has panned out as expected.
