Guys like Pacquette and Perrault won't get that many points unless they get in 30+ games but that means Armia, Poehling and/or Lehkonen won't get the points you projected

I agree with most of these
Poehling im not sure gets there but then again he might step into the void and thrive like Evans did(Evans more Defensive success)

I'd have to say Drouin i see more at 8 goals 50 assists for 58 points (possibly higher if our PP actually does something this year )
If all those guys are scoring 20 + goals a lot of that success will rely on his playmaking .
Especially if Dvorak and Anderson have 43 goals between them on his line

You think MTL will have 8 20+ goal scorers?

See Habs yearly injuries from 0ctober to christmas break
We lose minimum 3 roster players a year for 2-3 weeks or months depending on if its serious
They'll play for the same reason Perry got to start, take off and as far as i remember finished top 5 in habs production last year

Pretty good/reasonable

I'd say a bit less goals for Caufield, less points for Poehling, but more for Hoffman.

Sounds good for Gallagher but is this based on 82 games? Is it the paces fo 82?

Depends on our PP really
Its consistently sucked despite PK being solid

Its a long shot but our offensive depth and 4 line attack style seen us lead the league right up until around mid feburary or early march
Then we had a brutal final stretch with injuries and players taking time off for personal health reasons and shots declined but we still finished 7th/31 teams in the NHL

Better Shooters , Better Playmaking ... It just seems logical there would be a higher chance of success and more goals scored
With us relying less on Weber's blue line shot it also means more shots will be distributed to guys like Toffoli,Hoffman,Caufield ,Suzuki and Dvorak
Who have joined us in the past 2 years to bolster our Goal Scoring on the PP which is an issue
Goal scoring 5v5 we dont have much issue with Gallagher ,Anderson ,Armia ,and Byron are reliable options 5v5 who can also provide short handed and breakaway goals that change momentium

Our issue has been PP
If these new players help us fix it and the changes made to it post Weber click with them
We could have a lot of 20 goal scorers and or maybe just a few with 20 goal guys and plural 30 goal scorers (Gallagher and Caufield for example.)

By this projection, you have the Habs scoring 3.63 goals per game which would have been 1st in the league last year. They'll more likely be around 20th (roughly 227 goals).

I can't think of a team that had the winger depth that Montreal has. Lehkonen and Armia are our weakest stating wingers and they have put up 17 and 18 goal seasons already so 20 is not unreasonable.

Over optimistic on Caufield as always but otherwise pretty fair and reasonable. I could see Toffoli doing even better than what you have, maybe anderson too. I also don't think Poehling exceeds even 20 points.

I mean, TBL haven't even done that over the past 3 seasons (pro-rated to 82 games). And assuming Kuch was healthy last year during the regular season and scored at least 20 goals, they still wouldn't have been at 8 20+ goal scorers.

All I am saying is outside of Poehling and Evans (mostly cause they haven't came close yet) all our forwards have the ability to put up 20+ goals, not saying they all will just they can or already have.

Being way too optimistic here. Add up all the goals and you get 298 total scored this season. That’s a 3.63 goals per game pace. The highest Montreal has scored in the past 10 years 3.04 in 2012-2013 (~249 goals per game.

Last year, Montreal scored 2.82 goals per game, or about a 231 goal pace over 82. Your project 67 more total goals than that.

In the past 10 years, the only team to ever score at a 3.63 goals per game pace or better err the 2018-2019 lightening, who had the best regular season record since the 95-96 redwings. Literally one of the best teams of all time.

Highest in recent years has been 7, so it's a tall order. Not impossible, just not likely.

I checked a while ago and I think they have the potential for 260ish. Can't remember when they did that last, but this is the deepest team with the most offensive ability they've had in a while. Of course the caveat there is having a more effective power play using that talent.

Lesser teams we skated including 2 years ago had 208 in 71 games
9 players scored 10-20 goals each

Now we've upgraded Domi with Toffoli and Tatar with Hoffman while adding Caufield
Suzuki's going into his 3rd year now will likely step up from 13-20 goals
