Ritichie Matthews Marner
Mikheyev Tavares Nylander
Bunting Kerfoot Spezza
Simmonds Kampf Kase

Curious, what have you seen from Gusev to warrant a contract. I thought he has looked way too slow. Terrible skating stride. He is KHL bound IMO

Gusev dosent look very good I dont think hes gonna get a contract and hes gonna end up going back to the KHL also Josh Ho Sang impressed this pre season he derves a spot over Gusev. Also why do we need Demers when we have Liligren who looks like hes ready he looked decent playing with Muzzin. Also Simmonds over engvall cuz he throws the body and hes making uner 1 mill.

I agree Gusev looks sluggish, but his vision and hands have look pretty good on the pp, but I doubt that is enough to crack the opening night roster, however, I could see the Chunky treatment where he ends up in the AHL if he is willing.

Why? Would Detroit trade a 6'8 4th line LW in Elmer Soderblom and a 5th round pick for a pending UFA in Ilya Mikheyev. Even Yzerman isn't that stupid. We either go with Raymond, Veleno or sign Bobby Ryan Mikheyev isn't no upgrade over either of those three.

Well hes been decent with Muzzin if they continue to play good togeher they he could stay on this roster.

I was hoping Gusev would pan out but he looks slow, easily pushed off the puck, pretty one dimensional, tons of skill but not made for the NHL. I would be pretty surprised if the Leafs or another team offers him a contract. I think he is KHL bound and will kill it there.

For me: Ritchie Bunting Mikheyev Robertson Ho-Sang are all better options for the top 6 than Gusev.

Nobody right now, the roster is set IMO

PIT Rust (if available)

He also protects his teammates. So to have him and Ritchie will go along way in the team chemistry.
