The offer needs way better quality than this. I’d accept :
A young middle 6 forward + Holtz and a top 3 protected 2022 1st. The forward can be any of Zacha, Kuokannen, Wood.

While this offer is short, Tkachuk averages 20 goals 40 points, hes not worth A+ prospect plus a top 5 pick, that pick doesnt need to be unprotected and NJ has prospects they could offer other than Holtz

Holtz was drafted with an upside of top 6 easily maybe top line. The jury is still out on Foote. If you want to trade Brady, you need a guy like Holtz back, to play with Stutzle . Grab Savoie in the top 5 and Ottawa would be epic

Holtz was drafted #7, as a future top-line winger, in 2020.
Brady was drafted #4, as a future top-line winger, in 2018.

I find it hard to believe any GM would suggest Devils need to add another top-6 player plus another 1st round pick to the former to obtain the latter.

If the deal is Holtz for Brady, just leave it at that.
If Sens want a 1st rounder and another top-6 winger, they shouldn't expect Holtz back on top of that.

It is like as if Senators wanted Ty Smith, and the Devils were asking for Jake Sanderson, Eric Brannstrom and a 2022 1st round pick. Either ask for Jake Sanderson or ask for Brannstrom plus the pick...but not all three.

Yeah I understand your point. Honestly Holtz is the main attraction but I’d want an extra piece just in case he doesn’t pan out haha
