Do I miss my man Dougie Hamilton? Hell yes I do. I do think, however, just from last night, that Kotkaniemi, Andersen, and DeAngelo are all playing with a huge chip on their shoulders and all of them want to prove the conventional wisdom wrong. I think they could very well do just that.

Carolina got the same return on Nedeljkovic that Boston got on Daniel Vladar of all people.

Carolina got the same return on Nedeljkovic that Calgary got on David Rittich.

Does that even seem fair to the Carolina Hurricanes?

To me, it doesn't :/

Ned wanted 4+ million plus from the Canes. The org was worried he was getting close to 5 million in arb. Canes wouldn’t pay that much. Ned taking a discount on what he wanted from the Canes makes it look bad but its the right move

A lot of folks also hugely underestimate Andersen and Raanta as buy-low candidates.
