Rather waive Mikheyev

Id rather have Simmonds then Mikeyev.

Would rather have a guy that will fight and hit and pp net front on pp2 over a guy that wants out and only really brings speed.
Willy said he wanted to play the PK and we have Mitch,Ker and Kämpf that can PK
Unless Soup lights it up during the preseason i would move him over WS

Exactly he cant finish and he had so many oppertunies in the game on Saturday. Like u said simmonds can fight and he can also be a net front presence on the power play.

Just becasue Willy says he wants PK, doesn;t mean he will get it.
There are many more guys I'd put in that place
Soup is a good player for 1.6 Mill, and is a very good PK guy
Engvall will be gone, Ho-Sang and Gusev don;t make the team in my opinon.

If a guy has asked for a trade and brings little outside of something that we can speed and some PK abilities i would save the 1.6mil minus replacement and get a pick and move on.
People complain that the Leafs keep player about to hit UFA as own rentals and never get anything for them, Soup is a guy we can replace and get a pick for and not feel it
