I completely agree with you on this which is why I think that one poster calling him the next Hayes is completely out of touch. If Yzerman was to offer him 9-10M x 6-7 years next year I wouldn’t bat an eye.

Lol, mediocre and pp specialist. You obviously haven’t watched him play.

59, 43, 32. The number of 5v5 pts for zib the last three years.

Yeah I’ll value the guy more that also can actually produce on the power play as well instead of the guy that struggles to. Even if you break it down to per game pace Zibanejad wins. You say “mediocre” but I don’t think you know what it means, because if Zibanejad is mediocre, hertl is still worse.
