Can someone please explain to me why Pens fans still think that they could trade Zucker for Drouin? What on earth does it accomplish for Montréal?

I'm actually not too opposed to that Wings trade. Might want a little more to take him just because of how long that contract is but it could be a good deal for both sides. I don't think Pittsburgh would move him though.

not really a reason to not think it could work. Change of scenery move, nothing more

But why would Drouin or Montréal need a change of scenery? Just because it makes sense for one team doesn’t mean it makes sense for the other.

... he did just miss an entire Stanley Cup Playoff Run due to anxiety, etc, that COULD (obviously, none of us know) have been due in part to all the criticisms from playing in Montreal. I think there's certainly reason to believe he could use a change of scenery.

That being said, as a secondary Habs fan, I wouldn't do the trade

I don’t like the Habs, but I wouldn’t even do that if I were them.

I’m not sure why we’re giving up the more valuable player as well as pick either. Believe it or not, Holl has more value than Blueger.

If that’s the reason he had anxiety, then he probably wouldn’t fair better in Pittsburgh. Pens fans always need a scapegoat to basically hang. So if he doesn’t play well, he will just get torn a new one

Are you serious? After been sent to minors by TB? After not reporting to the afiliated team? After being traded at 22 years old? After the failed center experience? After his lack of production? After his mental breakdown? You dont see any reason for a change?

There isn't another trade I have seen on this site I would do more in a heart beat than that one.

The context, value, position and money match perfectly.

An offense catalyst for PIT, grit for MTL. Both underacheiving.
