depends on 3 teams performances this year, Leafs, Panthers and Habs, Tampa and Boston are most likely ending up 1-2, leafs are weak in net and on D and Habs D is weak for regular season playing and could hurt them, and then there's the Price factor, is he gong to be good or suck, and we never know what Panthers team will show up.

Dorion meant as in all the pieces to compete are there on the team. Sanderson may not be on the team for example but he belongs to the organization so technically he’s part of the pieces as well as many other prospects.

I think they have all the pieces to build, which is why they say the rebuild is over, Players now just need to grow. Murray is the biggest factor, if he plays well then they could be a bubble team. Brady is gonna sign before the season it is just a matter of if it is a bridge or they can give him enough signing bonus to get a 8-year deal done.

Really they need a RW to play with Stuzele and I think Pinto can fill 2C role.
However, they are likely a playoff team next year.
