I'll bet Hughes doesn't break out and what you see now is what you get.
I just don't see it from him any time I watch him play.
Same with Kakko.
Hughes was a top 5 transition player in the NHL last season as a 19 YO. The only reason he didn’t put up more points is because his line mates couldn’t finish the chances he created.
Either Kuokkanen or Tatar at LW and Sharangovich at RW.
First Year: (multiple - a lot in bottom-6)
Last Year: Kuokkanen -- Hughes -- Sharangovich
This Year: Tatar -- Hughes -- Sharangovich
Next Year: Tatar -- Hughes -- Holtz
After that: Foote -- Hughes -- Holtz

Thats my guess at least.
Doesn't seem like much of an upgrade, but maybe I just don't know how good Sharangovich and Kuokkanen are. I think they're solid players but not 1st liners.
I think Alexis lafreniere is going to explode this season, he's gonna be getting top line minutes for 82 games, kids gonna have 60+ points, I like kakko too bit think lafreniere is gonna be better

Kuokkanen is steady, mistake-free, by-the-book forward. Can play either wing or center, up or down lineup. Nothing too exciting, but good, young middle-sixer.
Sharangovich is a stud-in-the-making. Big, skilled, with filthy shot, great stick, long reach. Scored 33 goals between KHL and NHL last year.
Should put up Palmieri-esque numbers (25-30 goals).
