Top 6 is elite, however the bottom 6 is pretty weak outside of Tolvanen and Yams. Outside of Barkov, you don’t really have any other defensive forwards. D core is pretty solid but that third pairing is kind of ugly. Bean can’t play defense very well and Whitecloud I am just not sure of how he will perform. You have the best goalie in the league and an excellent backup choice to pivot to. This team has the framework of a cup winner, but the lack of viable defensive forwards would make a cup run pretty hard. Just look at the Montreal run. They weren’t trying to outscore their opponents. They were trying to out defend them. On the power play this team would be one of the top teams in the league, but on the kill, it would rank in the bottom half more than likely. Great job though

Barkov, Landeskog, Pavelski, and Tolvanen are all very good defensively. Plus guys like Toffoli, Verhaeghe, and Kaprizov are at minimum average defensive players. I dont think the bottom 6 is that weak
