I’ll stand by my take lol, I said “I thought he’d go a little later (he was a late riser) around 5 or 6, but 3 isn’t too far out of the ballpark, he’s a great prospect.” I still would’ve taken Guenther and Luke Hughes before him, but McTavish is gonna be a beast. Zegras + McTavish as Anaheim’s 1-2 punch with Drysdale on the blueline, Comtois as the power winger, and Gibson or Dostal in net is an incredible future. They’re a top pair LD prospect (they have a bunch of low-end LD prospects like Guhle, Zellweger, Mahura, Larsson, etc.) and a couple wingers away from being totally loaded (and I like Perreault and Pastujov, Tracey a bit less but maybe he works out, so I’d say draft like 3 more wingers in the first 3 rounds over the next two years and hope you get 3 out of the 6 into the NHL).
