He could seriously score 20G+ this season, which is something he hasn't accomplished since 2015-16. He seems to be a perfect fit in Tampa and he should prove to be one of the best value contracts in the entire league this season.

That was the only game in the series that was extremely one sided , pens outplayed the isles - but sorokin was incredible and Jarry sucked . Goaltending matters.

Sorokin was HUGE in the early goings of the playoffs for the Islanders. He and Varlamov are an incredible tandem.

Yeah sorokin stole game 5 in OT. He won game 1 and Trotz went back to Varlamov for games 2 and 3 (isles lost both games) . Varlamov started to play well against Boston and he had some great games against TB, but vasilevskiy was better.

So either way as long as Melnyk is the owner neither a long term deal nor a short term will work out well in the end.

Lets see how this plays out as I got a feeling Brady could be traded before the RFA deadline if he and Ottawa cant agree on a new deal.

Iunno how well a ABB-Colton-Joseph line will play out for an entire season. It was the Gourde line that played against top competition last season, now it’s probably going to be Cirelli again. Stamkos playing on a line that plays against top competition is gonna be tough. I like the idea of Killorn-Cirelli-Joseph as the shutdown line and then Stamkos-Colton-Perry as another line. ABB isn’t really a bottom 6 guy anyways so maybe he’s out for Katchouk on the 4th line
