Ty Smith is having a nice little start to his NHL career. We haven't seen a rookie dman produce like this right out of the gates since... Quinn Hughes and Cale Makar. pic.twitter.com/KfmcMbNPUm

What I got on Ty Smith is he looks phenomenal and it's a near certainty he'll be a star. Dougie, Smith and Hughes on the PP is going to be a beautiful sight. https://t.co/s26yyBbNUe pic.twitter.com/e9BEvcRvur

Adam Boqvist, reportedly included in the Seth Jones deal to Chicago, is a dman with huge offensive upside. He is well on his way to being a star in the NHL. pic.twitter.com/9y1g5EHa4U

One should not trade a 1st and Evan Bouchard (who could very well turn into young OEL at a fraction of the price) for old OEL. This is not a good idea. https://t.co/PqmmLbPGUT pic.twitter.com/dBpsRu1v89

Nils Lundkvist's progression is really unique. Not many dmen have such a drastic change from their DY/D1 seasons to their D2/D3 seasons. Sandis Ozolinsh, who jumped to the NHL in his D2, is one of the few examples. Moritz Seider is in that realm as well. pic.twitter.com/kgi8vk6Pro
