Totally cool with all of this. I do believe this sets up AJ for failure, if he were actually going to become anything, as he's not playing with skill as much as grit on that 4th line.

I hope McLeod can move up, I just have my doubts for anyone to be the 3C, so its not just against him. It's truly an X factor on how this season goes whether we can surprise vs simply show strides.

I wouldn't mind Jankowski getting a contract out of camp but I don't think its a good idea to have him and Mcleod as centers at the same time.
I have a hard time believing either of them would find success anywhere other than at 4C.
Good shout having Mercer making the team, does seem like he might be ready sooner than any of us expected.

I think if Mercer makes team, he makes it as a center.
His future is playing center.

Long term, team would probably prefer him spend beginning of year playing 1C in AHL than 3RW in NHL.

So I think it’s 3C or AHL for him to start.
