If the Leafs know what is good for them, they will trade Rielly for a LW

Jake Bean’s contract is the comparable IMO, get Sandin signed to a 3 or 4 year deal at 2.3AAV

Sandin isn’t ready to be this teams #1 dman yet. Before u say Muzzin, that leafs sandin and holl as the second pair, and that would not work out well

I like this idea if a) Sandin breaks out or b) they trade for someone else mid season.

Their left side is fine, any one of Sandin, Dermott, or Muzzin could play top pair because Brodie is a very reliable partner

Not confident with having Sandin top pair unless he shows improvement though, current Sandin is a bottom 4 defenseman. Brodie is great, but he isn't good enough to carry a bottom pairing guy, so the only guy who would definitely form a good top pair with Brodie is Muzzin.

That said, this is under the impression Sandin doesn't improve/break out/whatever you want to call it. If he takes a step forward he could be top 4.
