I was thinking the same thing... my vote would be Arizona since they have the cap.

That's why I peg Brady with a 2 year deal, so he sees Matthew's contract signing of 2022 and than he'll sign 2023 to match the UFA ending season.

That would mean he would still be an RFA. He can become a UFA after 7 seasons. That would mean he would have to sign a 4 year deal

I would love to see that, but probably it will be a bit later in their careers before they go to the same team.

Do you think he will want to wait that long

OK, let me explain because I think this idea flew over your heads.

Next summer (2022) Matthew resigns with the Flames say with a 8 yr deal.
The following year (2023) Brady resigns with the Sens and signs with a 7 year deal.

End result both players hit UFA in 2030, to sign as a brother combo with any team.

Brady can just react to Matthew's contract signing by signing a 2 year bridge.

Next summer Matthews sign for 8, Brady signs for 7. Or Matthew resigns for 7, Brady follows up by resigning for 6....etc.

Auston Matthews will sign with Vegas baby....by than they'll have cap space and Auston can get away with inappropriate behavior all he wants in Sin city.

Arizona ending up with the Tkachuks and Matthews would be wild
