I doubt you get anything back for Bob. You're definitely gonna have too give too get him out. I do think he'd waive for Arizona tho, considering I think he's only playing for money now. And Arizona has no state taxes.

yeah in my opinion it's naive to think you'd get any assets back for Bobrovsky's contract. The Marleau comparable is a few years old but if it cost the contending Maple Leafs a 1st rd pick to move the last year of PM's contract, how much do you think it's gonna take to get rid of Bob's? It's gotta at least be a 1st from Florida, if not two picks. Although, the cap is gonna inch its way up in the following years lessening the burden of Bob's cap.

Devils decline the Hörnqvist trade btw, think you'd have to give him away for future considerations if you cannot find another contending team interested in his services, though I'd have a hard time believing that'd would garner anything other than a mid round pick.

Hornqvist will garner an asset or two if he has a good year this season, which I think he will and the Devils will be going for it by this point. They’d be dumb not to do this trade. As for Bob, idk…part of me feels like Arizona would be dumb enough to do a trade like this considering they really don’t have a goalie otherwise. Plus, it’s not like the Panthers are getting anything great back in either trade.

doubt it, the coyotes are rebuilding and actively aiming to tank and take on bad contracts. i’m sure they’d take bob, but you’d have to give at least a first, if not a first and a guy like lundell or another solid prospect, to get them to bite on it. bob’s got the worst contract in the league.

Seems to me the Siegenthaler trade is a manifestation of ignorance on part of the OP in regards to the current NHL landscape.
Zito is a fantastic GM but I don't think even him would be able to persuade Fitzgerald into throwing Siegenthaler away like that.

Or maybe the OP thinks its 2016 and not 2021 idk...
